Something to work for

Why I am on this journey?

Let me start from the beginning... on May 14, 2010, I joined Weight Watchers for my best friend's thirtieth birthday.  I did it on a whim, but for some reason it just clicked for me.  I think it was just time.

Since then, I lost 63 pounds, gained 15 pounds back and am now back on track.  I think now is a great time to examine the original reasons I decided to stick with the program and then maybe set some new goals...

Original Goals:
Lose 10% of my body weight completed 7/2010
Lose 20% of my body weight completed 1/2011 and then again in 8/2011 after gaining 15 lbs back
Be able to shop at normal, non plus-sized clothing stores  completed 9/2010
Start exercising

New Goals:
Quit smoking cigarettes completed 5/2011
Maintain regular exercise routine completed 8/2011
Train and run a 5K- in progress, currently doing walk/jog combo on most days
Lose 30% of my body weight - in progress
Lose 40% of my body weight- long term goal

I would ask you to check in with me, see how I am doing.  The only way I got this far was through accountability and support and I will continue to need it along the way!
